'We don't even know each other well enough to be enemies,' the 'Piece by Piece' songstress explains about her relationship with fellow 'American Idol' winner Carrie.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" alums Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood crossed paths when they both attended Radio Disney Music Awards in Hollywood, California on Friday, June 22. The songstresses spent some time together on the red carpet to pose for pictures before the show, proving that there's no rivalry between them. Kelly also took the opportunity to talk about feud rumors between her and Carrie at the event.

"Everybody always tries to pit me and Carrie against each other," Kelly told Entertaiment Tonight. The "Since U Been Gone" singer also admitted that it was her idea to pose for a photo together with Carrie and end the feud speculations. "So, when I saw her I was like, 'You know what? Let's just end this right now and get a picture together because we are never in the same place.' And, like, it never happens," she said.

Kelly then went on to explain she actually didn't know Carrie that well to be enemies. "And people always try to put it together like we're enemies. And I'm like, 'We don't even know each other well enough to be enemies.' So, anyway, I went to get a picture and then everybody lost their mind," she added.

Recently, Carrie sent Kelly a gift package from her fitness clothing line Calia, indicating that they're on good terms. The Grammy Award winner was thrilled to receive the gift and took to Twitter on June 6 to thank the "Jesus Take the Wheel" singer through a video.

"Thank you @carrieunderwood," Kelly said. "I don't know if you came up with this, but your company is turning three, congratulations! I love all your stuff you always send me. It's a cake. It's in the shape of a cake because they're turning three, y'all. Who came up with this? That's adorable. Each one is a drawer with a gift," the singer praised her fellow "American Idol" winner.
