AceShowbiz - Tragic XXXTENTACION's death has rocketed the rapper to the top of the U.S. pop charts.

Fans have revisited his March release Sad! following his death last week, June 18, helping the track surge up the countdown from 52 to number one.

The song, which previously reached a high at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, makes XXXTentacion the first lead artist to top the chart posthumously since The Notorious B.I.G.'s Mo Money Mo Problems scored a number one in 1997.

The late rapper's album ?, which debuted at number one in March, has also returned to the top three, rising from 24 to three on the new countdown.

Meanwhile, Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin's I Like It rises a spot to two on the Hot 100, Drake's Nice for What falls to three, Juice WRLD's Lucid Dreams jumps up to four, and Girls Like You by Maroon 5 completes the top five.
