The 'Red Sparrow' actress will promote the brand's new scent created by perfumer Francois Demachy.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence will front a new Dior perfume campaign when the fragrance is released later this year.

The actress has been an ambassador for the luxury label since 2012 and previously fronted a handbag campaign in 2013, as well as fronting the ads for Dior Addict Lipstick in 2015.

Now the Oscar winner will promote the luxury brand's upcoming perfume.

According to a statement from Dior, the new scent, created by perfumer Francois Demachy, is "an unprecedented fragrance and a powerful universe which mark the beginning of a new era for fragrance at the house of Dior."

This will be the first time the French fashion house has launched a major fragrance pillar since the iconic J'Adore in 1999, which was famously fronted by fellow Oscar winner Charlize Theron. Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and star Emilia Clarke have also held ambassador roles for the brand.

Jennifer has been a longtime fan of Dior and was dressed by the label, helmed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, at this year's Academy Awards. She opted for a gold sequinned floor length gown.

"It's such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion," the Red Sparrow star told WWD when she was first announced as a collaborator.

She also sang the label's praises in a behind-the-scenes video from her Miss Dior handbag line shoot.

"I've always been a huge fan of Dior. And being part of something with such an incredible history is an honour," the 27-year-old enthused. "Dior represents beauty and strength with women and that's what I feel when I wear his clothes. I feel so confident wearing them."
