Stars Tom Ellis and Lesley-Ann Brandt as well as executive producer Joe Henderson take to Twitter to celebrate the fourth season pickup and thank fans for their support.

AceShowbiz - "Lucifer" is resurrected! The fantasy police procedural series is given second chance to live at Netflix after it was canceled by FOX in May. The streaming giant has officially picked up the show for a fourth season.
The pickup decision comes just as the options on the "Lucifer" cast were about to expire at the end of Friday, June 15. The stars have taken to Twitter to express their gratitude to Netflix and fans who made this happen.
"WE DID IT !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone for your continued support and love for #Lucifer I am so happy for all our fans I’m going to burst," Tom Ellis, who plays the titular character, tweeted. He added in another post, "#LuciferSeason4 on @Netflix wow that sounds nice. You fans made this happen. #LuciFansrock #Lucifersaved."

Lesley-Ann Brandt wrote on her own Twitter account, "You fans are incredible. You did this. We are so happy to keep the family together. Lucifer on Netflix is back. Has a ring to it I say. Thank you @netflix and Thank you to each and everyone of you who fought like a demon!"

Executive producer Joe Henderson also celebrated the show's new season pickup, tweeting, "Thank you thank you THANK YOU to all the #Lucifer fans. You brought us back. YOU did this. So relax, take a breath, put some ice on those fingers that have been hashtagging up a storm... and get ready for more deviltime."

"Lucifer" joins comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" which found a new home at NBC after being canceled by FOX last month. The two shows' cancellations caused protest among fans, with "Lucifer" fans starting a #SaveLucifer campaign on social media.
Following fans' reactions to the cancellation, "Lucifer" producer Warner Bros. TV started shopping the series to streaming services and premium cable networks. There were reportedly multiple interested buyers, including Netflix rival Amazon, which has the international market rights in the U.K. and Germany. "Lucifer" is now expected to be on Netflix in the U.K. following the buyout.
