AceShowbiz - Adele joined mourners at the first Grenfell Tower fire tragedy anniversary vigil on Thursday, June 14.

Memorials were held across the U.K. to commemorate the blaze at the London tower block, which cost 72 people their lives, and the Hello singer was spotted among those grieving at the site of the tragedy.

Adele joined mourners as they sang along to a choir's renditions of Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water and Bill Withers' Lean on Me.

Reports suggest rapper Stormzy was also spotted among the crowd.

Adele, who has become an advocate for the survivors of the fire, visited the site the day after the blaze took place on 14 June 2017 to comfort victims. She also treated children impacted by the tragedy to a free private screening of Despicable Me 3 in August.

The singer has also blasted government officials for failing to rehouse many families left homeless by the fire: "They’re not receiving the things we think they are," she told fans at a Wembley Stadium concert. "It's a f**king mess. No information is getting through, people feel helpless. No one knows what they're doing down there, it's chaos".
