'America's Got Talent' Season 13 Recap: Who Gets This Week's Golden Buzzer?

Among the acts in the Monday, June 12 episode is a duo of Front Pictures who creates a virtual reality act that 'shows the dangers of technology taking over the world.'

AceShowbiz - "America's Got Talent" season 13 returrns on June 12 with a new episode. The episode kicked off with a performance by an adorable 5-year-old girl named Sophie. Coming from West Virginia, the toddler took the stage to show off her pretty voice while singing Frank Sinatra's "My Way".

Sophie awed everyone with her stunning voice and earned a standing ovation. "I want you to date my son," judge Simon Cowell said. "You are happiness in a bottle." Sophie got 4 yes, making her head to the next round.

The next act were Sixto and Lucia from Cuba. They performed a quick costume change and that pleased the judges. Simon even called the act "one of the best ones I've seen," adding that it was "perfect for 'America's Got Talent'."

Former "Glee" star Noah Guthrie later took the stage to perform a soulful rendition of Rihanna's "Love on the Brain". Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B loved it, saying that he "killed it." Meanwhile, Heidi Klum raved over Noah's "sexy voice." He was voted to the next round!

The next act was quite bizarre. Sethward appeared on stage in a caterpillar costume. He ran to the stage before falling down hard. He later started writhing like an actual caterpillar, sending everyone to an understandable bewilderment. Not stopping there, Sethward got off the stage and went towards the judge panel. "Oh! No! You are so beautiful," he told Heidi, but Simon told him to get back on the stage.

Once he was on the stage, he attempted to transform himself into a "beautiful" butterfly. However, he didn't even finish his act when the judges pushed their X buzzers.

Performing next was a dance group named Future Kings. The boys were dancing lively. It took no time for their show-stopping performance to mesmerize the judges. Mel B gushed over the group, saying that they are "very current, very now, and very, very on point." Not surprisingly, they went to the next round after earning four yes.

A duo of Front Pictures later created a virtual reality act that "shows the dangers of technology taking over the world." The duo used the screen, suspension cables and the stage to create an environment that looked like a video game. They were later seen being absorbed into the world of video game of neon colors where they were running, flying, falling, snowboarding and swimming. It was so cool that voting sending them to another round was more likely a no-brainer decision.

Ms. Trysh later offered Simon a sultry rendition of "If I Were Your Woman". That performance earned her a hug from Simon and obviously four yes from the judges who all loved her smooth voice.

Escape artist Lord Nil then showcased his skill as he attempted to escape from a box before a batch of scorpions invaded. Everyone was in panic but he made it out of the box just in time. The judges were "truly amazed" by the act. He went to the next round.

Lord Nil was later followed by Hans. The self-proclaimed international superstar performed a German sing-along in a mermaid sequined jumpsuit. A slew of backup dancers later joined him in a rendition of "Proud Mary". He moved on to the next round.

As for Samuel J. Comroe, he's a stand-up comedian who has been doing stand-up for 10 years. Samuel, who has Tourette syndrome, impressed crowd. He said that when he was a kid, his parents sent him to a Tourette camp. "I didn't realize until this moment but I found out that when another people twitch, it makes me twitch more," he added, prompting laughter from the judges and the audience. Viewers would be seeing Samuel in the next round because he got yes from the judges.

Rounding out that night was Courtney Hadwin. The 13-year-old singer took the stage to deliver a surprising rock performance that succeeded to make everyone's jaw drop. She sang a powerful rendition of "Hard to Handle" by Ortis Redding. Howie Mandel was beyond obsessed with her performance, enough to make him push his Golden Buzzer for her.
