When asked whether she often meets with her rapper father, the young model replies, 'Of course, we are very close.'

AceShowbiz - Eminem's daughter Hailie Scott has spoken about her relationship with her father for the first time.

The 22-year-old is daughter to the rapper and his ex-wife Kim Scott, who first met in high school and went on to marry and divorce twice. Both Kim and Hailie have both been referenced in many of Eminem's most popular hits, and in a rare interview which appeared on MailOnline, his daughter insisted she gets on very well with the hip-hop legend.

When asked whether she often sees her dad, real name Marshall Mathers, and whether he's supportive of her, she replied: "Of course, we are very close."

Hailie has recently graduated with a degree in Psychology from Michigan State University (MSU) and lives in a four bedroom house in Detroit with her dog Lottie, while still making time to pay regular visits to her mother and half-sisters 25-year-old Alaina and 16-year-old Whitney - who were both previously adopted by Eminem.

However, unlike her famous father, she has no interest in pursuing a music career now that her studies have concluded, and instead is aiming to improve her profile and become an Instagram influencer.

"I'm not sure yet, it's kind of up in the air, still," she said of her online aspirations. "People have been reaching out through (Instagram), as I don't have any (management)."

Having signed up to the social media platform in 2016, Hailie has racked up over 900,000 followers and even attracted job offers from major brands.

"Not so much (by) magazines, but companies who work with them," she added.

MailOnline also reported that the recent graduate has been in a relationship with college classmate Evan McClintock for two years, and sources claim that the Lose It hitmaker approves of his little girl's choice of partner.

"Hailie's family have welcomed Evan, they are a fantastic young couple who love cosy nights in rather than hard partying," they said.
