The actor will portray Jim Fingal in the play, which is based on journalists John D'Agata and Fingal's critically acclaimed 2012 book revolving around their investigations into the sucide of a Las Vegas teenager.

AceShowbiz - "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is returning to Broadway to star in the world premiere of a new play.

The actor will team up with veteran thespian Cherry Jones and Bobby Cannavale for "The Lifespan of a Fact", based on journalists John D'Agata and Jim Fingal's critically acclaimed 2012 book revolving around their investigations into the sucide of a Las Vegas teenager.

Directed by Leigh Silverman, "The Lifespan of a Fact" will begin performances at Studio 54 on September 20, ahead of an October 18 opening night. The limited engagement will run for 16 weeks.

Radcliffe and Cannavale will portray Fingal and D'Agata in the play, while Jones will play Fingal's editor.

Radcliffe is no stranger to the stage and last appeared in New York in 2016's "Privacy". He also wowed Broadway critics with "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Equus".
