The On the Road Again star is now trying to reschedule the show in North Carolina.

AceShowbiz - Willie Nelson abruptly ended a show in North Carolina on Saturday, May 26, due to illness.

The On the Road Again star was due to perform at the the Outlaw Music Festival at the PNC Music Pavilion, but left the stage moments after starting his set.

In video footage of Nelson's entrance, the country legend is seen walking onstage and picking up his guitar before putting it down, throwing his hat into the crowd, and leaving.

Nelson's manager has since explained he was battling a stomach bug, but he is still slated to perform with Sturgill Simpson in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, May 27.

The singer is now trying to reschedule the show in North Carolina.
