AceShowbiz - The Backstreet Boys have delighted fans with the release of their first musical offering in five years. Nick Carter, 38, Kevin Richardson, 46, Howie Dorough, 44, Brian Littrell, 43, and A.J. McLean, 40, who enjoyed a string of hits in the '90s, dropped new track "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", in the early hours of Thursday, May 17, their first release through a new deal with RCA Records.

The group, who celebrates their 25th anniversary, last studio album, "In World Like This", was released in 2013. "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" is produced by Jamie Hartman and Stuart Crichton and accompanied by a music video directed by longtime Backstreet Boys collaborators Rich + Tone, which sees the man-band performing their signature group dance routine to the electro-pop tune onstage against a changing backdrop of lights and graphic images.

"The minute we heard this song we knew it was special," Kevin told Billboard in a statement. "I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON. Great verse, hook and melodies. Just makes you wanna listen over and over again."

Its release comes as the band plan to hit the road for a string of summer dates, including the "Good Morning America Summer Concert Series" in New York's Central Park on July 13, before resuming their "Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life" residency in Las Vegas.

The Backstreet Boys were created in 1993, and shot to fame with mega-hits including; "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and "I Want It That Way". They've sold over 100 million records worldwide.
