AceShowbiz - Robin Thicke's girlfriend April Love Geary has defied trolls by sharing another picture of her breastfeeding daughter Mia. The 23-year-old model attracted criticism earlier this week when she shared a snap taken by "Blurred Lines" singer Robin of Mia latched on to April's breast.
But on Monday, April 23, April put the controversy behind her by treating followers to a new image of her feeding Mia. In the picture, April lays on a bed with Mia, wearing a pink hat, feeding. She accompanied the image with a post in which she explained the picture was the first time Mia had latched on, and detailed how magical she has found the process of breastfeeding so far.
"The first time my baby girl latched onto my nipple," April wrote. "I was honestly so nervous that it wouldn't go well but she latched on instantly. I was so happy. There's really nothing like the bond a mother shares with her baby while she breastfeeds. It's such a shame that the world sexualizes a woman's breast so much."
"Boobs are for babies, not your husband. And to the women who can't have babies/breastfeed/etc, your boobs are yours. Your body is yours. If you can't breastfeed, you are no less than someone who can. Every mothers journey is going to be different but that's what makes our lives so special (sic)," she added.
Mia is Robin's second child. He is also dad to eight-year-old son Julian with his ex-wife Paula Patton. The singer began dating April shortly after he separated from the "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol" actress in 2014. They finalised their divorce in 2015.
