AceShowbiz - Janelle Monae continues promoting feminism through her music videos. Ahead of the release of her highly-anticipated album "Dirty Computer", the singer has given fans another taste of the effort by releasing new single "PYNK" along with its music video on April 10.

Directed by Emma Westenberg, the pinkish visuals opens with Monae and her friends traveling to a desert by a car. They later showcase their dance moves in pants emulating female body parts. Tessa Thompson stars in the clip, joining Monae and her friends strutting their sexy outfits at an empty pool, on a pink bed and at a family diner.

"Pink like the lips around your, maybe/ Pink like the skin that's under, baby/ Pink where it's deepest inside, crazy/ Pink beyond forest and thighs," Monae sings. "Pink like the secrets you hide, maybe/ Pink like the lid of your eye, baby/ Pink is where all of it starts, crazy/ Pink like the halls of your heart."

Monae said of the song, " 'PYNK' is a brash celebration of creation, self love, sexuality and p***y power! 'PYNK' is the color that unites us all, for pink is the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere... 'PYNK' is where the future is born..."

"Dirty Computer" is set to be released on February 27, marking her first album in five years. In an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Janelle suggested that the effort was something that she had been dying to make despite her fear over how it would be received by public.

"I'm going to be 100 percent honest, I'm scared. I'm actually terrified," she shared. "It's such an honest body of work and I don't know how people are going to react to it, Zane. I really, I don't know. Just the thought of it is kind of freaking me out a little bit, but I feel like it's something that I need to do. It's something that I always knew I needed to do and it's going to happen."
