The 'Office' alum surprises the host and the audience as she walks on the stage in a white towel while holding a maroon long dress.

AceShowbiz - Show must go on! Jenna Fischer knows how to overcome a wardrobe malfunction. In a recent episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", "The Office" alum surprised host Jimmy Kimmel and the audience as she made her way to the stage while wrapped in a bath towel.

Donning a white bath towel and jeans, she came on stage with a dress, which she supposedly wore that night, in one of her hands. "What happened?" Kimmel asked, to which she responded, "Why do you ask?"

The "Splitting Up Together" star later explained that she'd "waited a little too long" to put on the dress, and then she broke the zipper. "I panicked. … You know, I'm a Missouri girl, [so] the show must go on!" she said. "That's right! That's what they say in Missouri," Kimmel agreed.

The 44-year-old actress went on saying that in fact, she felt comfortable in towel. "I am mentally a little freaking out that I'm on a talk show in a towel, but I'm physically very comfortable," Fischer shared. Kimmel later joked that it was like "running into you at a spa."

Meanwhile, Kimmel took a jab at first lady Melania Trump during the monologue. The host made fun of the 140th Annual White House Easter Egg Roll which she hosted. "I want to really thank the first lady, Melania, who has really done an incredible job," he said. "She worked so hard on this event, so I want to thank you."

"Not a chance she did one thing to help set that up. There's no -- she didn't dye eggs, she didn't fill baskets. The only thing she's been working on is an escape tunnel," he continued saying with a big grin.

Kimmel also brought porn star Stormi Daniels, who was said to be having affair with President Donald Trump, into the discussion. He played footage of the event, at which Trump could be seen telling a crowd of 30,000 people, "You know, it was supposed to be pouring, the weather. It was supposed to be very rainy and nasty and cold and windy." Kimmel chimed in, "And Stormy, too, you know."
