The son of the 'Star Trek' actor is married to his new wife on his late father's 87th birthday at City Hall in San Francisco.

AceShowbiz - Leonard Nimoy's son Adam gets married for the second time. On Monday, March 26, the TV director officially married "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" alum Terry Farrell at City Hall in San Francisco, California. The wedding bash took place on the same date as the late actor's 87th birthday.

The first look at the newly-wed couple hit the web through a Twitter post by film critic Scott Mantz. He wrote in the caption, "RT BREAKING NEWS!! ADAM NIMOY & TERRY FARRELL got MARRIED TODAY at a CIVIL CEREMONY at CITY HALL in SAN FRANCISCO! Today is the BIRTHDAY of Adam's father #LeonardNimoy! Big CONGRATS to the happy couple!! #LLAP# #StarTrek."

Following the wedding, Terry, 54, wrote on her Twitter account, "Freakin AWESOME day!!!!!!! Love ya all!" She also added, "Mrs. Adam Nimoy," to her Twitter bio.

Many stars from the "Star Trek" franchise congratulated Adam and Terry. Robert Picardo, who portrayed Starfleet's The Doctor on "Star Trek Voyager", tweeted, "You make a radiant couple!" Jeri Ryan who played the Borg Seven of Nine on the series also tweeted, "Congrats, lady!!! I wish you both a lifetime of love!"

The couple confirmed their engagement on August 21, 2017 after Scott shared the exciting news on Twitter. Prior to the engagement, Adam and Terry went public with their relationship at the "Star Trek" Las Vegas convention in the same month.

This is the second marriage for the couple. Previously, Adam was married to ex-wife Nancy Nimoy, with whom he shares two children, Madeleine and Jonah Nimoy. Meanwhile, Terry was previously married to ex-husband Brian Baker before ending their marriage in December 2015. The former couple has a son named Max.
