AceShowbiz - Sofia Richie doesn't hesitate to show the world her love for beau Scott Disick. The 19-year-old model takes to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her and the 34-year-old reality TV star/restaurateur, only to find herself getting trolled by haters.
Amid rumors of them breaking up, Sofia appears to assure everyone that her relationship with Scott is doing well by uploading a photo of them boarding a private plane. Both look adorable as Sofia affectionately wraps her arm around the father of Kourtney Kardashian's three kids.
The daughter of Lionel Richie simply captions the snap, "My (heart emoji)."
While it's sweet, some people seemingly find the caption rather ridiculous, given the wide age gap between Sofia and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star. "You mean your daddy," a user comments. Another user also writes, "Ur gonna hate urself when u get older. He's just using u and taking advantage of you. U don't see it now and hate hearing this I bet. But when ur about 24 ur really gonna hate urself."
The hate is not stopping there. Some users point out that Sofia resembles Kourtney a lot, saying, "I wonder if he told her to dye her hair. She reminds me of Kourtney." Meanwhile, another user adds, "why does she look like she transforming into a Kourtney look alike."
Haters aside, Sofia and Scott reportedly have their own way to overcome their "toxic" relationship filled with "explosive" fights. "Both Sofia and Scott have fast tempers, and they can have pretty explosive fights, frequently. It seems every week they split-up and then meet to discuss things and end up having make-up sex and before they know it, they're back together again. It definitely isn't the healthiest of relationships, and it's very drama-fueled and high school like," a source tells HollywoodLife.com.
The insider continues, "Sofia, obviously, hasn't got as much relationship experience as Scott, but they are still very similar in how they communicate with each other--usually they don't raise or discuss an issue until it gets to the point of really pissing them off, and then it inevitably turns into a heated fight."
"Their relationship is a little co-dependent and definitely pretty toxic, but neither of them has ever really had a healthy, well-functioning one, so it's hardly surprising," the source shares. "At least Sofia has the excuse of only being 19, but at 34-years old, you would think Scott would have managed to check all his baggage by now. But he still acts like a big spoiled baby a lot of the time."
