The "Despacito" hitmaker was spotted attending a church service in Beverly Hills, California, on Wednesday, March 14 while sporting a stern expression. Selena was actually at the very same service, but the reunited couple, who rekindled their love late 2017, wasn't seen being together.
Donning a black hoodie from Jay-Z's "4:44" collaboration with Fear of God which he paired with color-coordinated pants and a cap, Justin was seen looking gloomy while leaving the church. The "What Do You Mean?" singer maintained his stoic expression, prompting people to wonder if that had something to do with rumors of him being in a break with the "Fetish" songstress.
This served as a contrast with Selena. The former Disney darling was all smiles after attending the service. The 25-year-old beauty looked pretty casual in fluffy peach-colored jacket and gray jumpsuit. She was spotted in good spirits as a pastor escorted her to her vehicle.
A recent report stated that the young couple decided to take a break after having "a lot of little disagreements about Justin's recent birthday." A source revealed to E! News, "She wanted to have a quiet birthday celebration with Justin and he wanted to go big and involve all of his church friends. They had a disagreement that didn't end well."
The "Hands to Myself" songstress reportedly flew back to her hometown Texas amid the break. "Selena went to Texas for the weekend to be with her family. She's on a break with Justin partly because of family pressure but also because of some issues surrounding his birthday," the source added.
The alleged break, however, didn't stop Justin's mom, Pattie Mallette, from gushing over Selena. The mother of the Canadian heartthrob publicly sent love to Selena on her recent Instagram post. She commented on Selena's recent Instagram post, in which the singer teased her upcoming fall collection with Coach, with several party popper emojis.
