The Guillermo del Toro-directed movie is the biggest winner that night with four awards including Best Director category.

AceShowbiz - Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water" was the biggest winner at the 2018 Academy Awards. During the Sunday, March 4 event, which took place at the Dolby Theather in Los Angeles, California, the movie took home the grand prize at the awards-giving event by winning Best Picture category.
"The Shape of Water" bested fellow nominees "Call Me by Your Name", "Darkest Hour", "Dunkirk", "Get Out", "Lady Bird", "Phantom Thread", "The Post" and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri".

Successfully presented by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, the award marked the fourth Oscar for "The Shapes of Water" that night. The movie previously won Production Design, Best Original Music Score for Alexander Desplat and Best Director category for del Toro.

Trailing behind "The Shape of Water" was "Dunkirk". Starring Tom Hardy, Harry Styles, Cillian Murphy and Fionn Whitehead, the World War II movie bagged three awards, including Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Film Editing.
Meanwhile, "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" and "Darkest Hour" nabbed two trophies each. The former won Best Lead Actress for Frances McDormand and Best Supporting Actor for Sam Rockwell. Meanwhile, "Darkest Hour" took home the trophies for Best Makeup and Hairstyling category and Best Lead Actor category, the latter of which was for Gary Oldman.
Also earning two accolades that night were "Blade Runner 2049" and "Coco". The sequel of the 1982 movie nabbed the trophies for Best Visual Effects and Best Cinematography. As for the Pixar movie, it won Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for "Remember Me".
