AceShowbiz - Another celebrity couple is going separate ways. Rebecca Gayheart has filed for divorce from husband Eric Dane after 14 years of marriage, TMZ reports.

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress reportedly filed legal docs on Friday afternoon, February 16. Rebecca reportedly asks for spousal support as well as joint legal and physical custody of their two daughters, 7-year-old Billie Beatrice and 6-year-old Georgia Jane.

It remains to be seen what leads them to separate.

The former couple previously made headlines after Gawker released a video of them having threesome with another woman in a hot tub. "We've all made mistakes. My one regret is that I got the person I love most wrapped up in all that: Rebecca," Eric said of the video scandal in 2014. The actor, best known for his role as Mark Sloan on "Grey's Anatomy", went on explaining, "I never had a family, and now I do. I know I'm a very lucky guy."

Things have been tough for Rebecca for the past few years as she was involved in a car accident in Hollywood 2001 which claimed the life of a 9-year-old boy name Jorge Cruz Jr. The actress, who was dating director Brett Ratner at the time, received three years of probation and a suspended license for a year. She was also required to do 750 hours of community service and pay $2,800 in fines in pleading no contest to a vehicular manslaughter charge.

Last year, the actress suffered another heartache. On August 11, her younger sister Rachel Gayheart died in a Kentucky jail in connection with drugs. "Life has not been easy for you sis but now you can be peaceful," she wrote on her Instagram account following Rachel's passing. "[I'm] so grateful that I was able to be with my family during this time and want to say thank you to everyone for all of the love and support you've sent to me and my family."
