The romantic track, which serves as the soundtrack to 'Love, Simon', finds Khalid and Normani singing about doubting someone's love.

AceShowbiz - Khalid and Normani Kordei celebrate Valentine's Day with their long-awaited collaboration. After teasing it last year, the duo finally released their collaborative track "Love Lies" on February 14. The ballad track was first premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1.

Produced by Jack Antonoff, the track features Khalid and Normani singing about doubting someone's love. The romantically lyrics perfectly compliment both Normani and Khalid's vocals. "Tell me where your love lies/ Waste the day and spend the night/ Underneath the sunrise," they sing. "Show me where your love lies/ Tell me where your love lies."

Talking about working with the 19-year-old R&B musician, Normani called him "an amazing soul." She noted, "I think that's why this record means so much to me personally, and I know that it means a lot to him as well. It's just because we're genuine friends. This wasn't an A&R or somebody just putting us in a room together and being like, 'Yo, make something dope!' "

Khalid added that they "were instantly best friends" during their initial meeting. "She's just she's so like me in so many different ways and have so much fun together and she's so honest and so real and just nice," he said. "There's not a lot of nice people in the world but she's definitely one of the nicest."

"Love Lies" serves as the soundtrack to romantic comedy "Love, Simon". Based on the novel "Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda" by Becky Albertalli, the movie follows Simon (Nick Robinson), a closeted gay boy in high school who is forced to balance his friends, his family, his pen pal Blue and the blackmailer threatening to tell his secret to the entire school.

Directed by Greg Berlanti with a script written by Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Parker, the film is scheduled to hit theaters across the nation on March 16.
