'I found it very upsetting because that's not the way I recall our experience,' says the 52-year-old actress/designer after her co-star said they were 'never friends' during 'Sex and the City'.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Jessica Parker is not afraid to be honest about her feelings following Kim Cattrall's diss about their friendship during "Sex and the City". Appearing on "Watch What Happens Live" on Wednesday, January 31, the 52-year-old actress shared how she felt after hearing the English-Canadian actress, who played Samantha on the hit film and TV series, tell Piers Morgan that she and the cast were "never friends."

"What was your reaction to Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan that you were never friends just colleagues?" asked host Andy Cohen. Sarah admitted, "Just... heartbroken." The Carrie Bradshaw depicter continued, "I mean, that whole week, you and I spoke about it endlessly, because I was just, I don't know, I found it very upsetting because that's not the way I recall our experience."

"It's sad, but I always think that what ties us together was this singular experience," she told the 49-year-old talk show host. "It was a professional experience but it became personal because it was years and years of our lives, so I hope that that eclipses anything that's been recently spoken. That many years spent doing something so special that people had a connection with it is such a privilege."

Sarah kept it vague when asked if the team behind "Sex and the City" had considered replacing Kim or removing her character entirely from a potential third film. "I think once everybody has thoroughly experienced the grieving process, then [producer] Michael Patrick [King] can go back and sort of ponder what he might want to do and how he might want to proceed," Sarah said.

When Andy asked about the possibility of Sharon Stone playing the role of Samantha in a potential third "Sex and the City" film, Sarah responded, "You're not the first person that said it," adding that she thought it's a "really interesting idea, yeah."
