AceShowbiz - Amber Heard and Elon Musk's romantic relationship is over, again. A new report suggests that the "Aquaman" actress and the Tesla founder, who rekindled their love these past few months, have called it quits for the second time.
A source close to the rumored former couple told Page Six that "Elon and Amber broke up this week."
Another source said that "Amber wants her independence and prefers being friends rather than romantically linked." The source went on telling Us Weekly, "Elon decided it was time to end things, and Amber agreed. They both care for one another, but the timing just isn't right."
According to TMZ, it was civilized this time around. However, Elon allegedly thought that their relationship wasn't right and the actress agreed. A source revealed that while the on-and-off couple cares about each other, they feel separation is the best option for both.
The split came after the pair reconciled late last year. The two were spotted in numerous outings and even seen spending time together in Chile, where they were snapped having a dinner with a group of friends at restaurant El Taringa in Santiago. Just last month, Amber and Elon were snapped flaunting PDA after having a romantic sushi date in West Hollywood. Amber and the 46-year-old millionaire looked in good spirits as they left Sushi Park restaurant while walking hand-in-hand.
Amber and Elon first dated last spring before breaking up in August 2017. Elon admitted that the split left him broken-hearted as he told Rolling Stone, "I was really in love, and it hurt bad. Well, she broke up with me more than I broke up with her, I think." The pair cited conflicting schedules and long distance as the reasons why they decided to go separate ways at that time.
