AceShowbiz - Nas seems to be having no trouble moving on from Nicki Minaj. The 44-year-old rapper was spotted having a dinner date with another beauty, Tasha Smith.
The "Nas Is Like" spitter and the 46-year-old "Empire" star were seen leaving TAO in Hollywood on Tuesday night, January 23. Both looked beaming during the alleged romantic dinner.
Donning a gray long coat, the Brooklyn-born emcee was pictured casually resting his back on the wall while hiding his hands on the pocket. Meanwhile, Tasha, who portrays Carol Hardaway on the FOX series, was seen all smiles while donning a blue long-sleeved dress. She had a doggy bag in her hands.
This outing arrived after Nas reportedly split from Nicki after seven months of dating. A source claimed that their relationship "ran out of steam" because "living in different cities was just too much." The former couple allegedly would respect each other and wouldn't be trash talking one another. However, they didn't plan to hang out as friends either.
The split rumor came on the heels of report that the Trinidadian beauty was expecting a baby with the "If I Ruled the World" rapper. "[Nicki] found out she was pregnant during Thanksgiving and supposedly she supposed to announced her bundle of joy around the Grammys," claimed an insider.
Nas allegedly was left heartbroken after his romance with Nicki didn't work out. "He sincerely wanted Nicki to have his baby and he is not giving up hope that they could still have a family together one day," another source close to Nicki said. "Nas feels like timing is everything and he still has a lot of love for who he thinks is the sexiest woman in the rap game. Things might be over for now, but Nas refuses to give up loving Nicki."
However, now that he was seen hanging out with Tasha, it seems like the actress has changed his mind.
