The five-and-a-half-minute track finds the 'Stoner' spitter making a reference to Luther King's famous 'I Have a Dream' speech in his bars.

AceShowbiz - People around the world were celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day yesterday by sharing their favorite quotes from the late minister. However, Young Thug has his own way to celebrate the day. The Atlanta rapper has unveiled a song entitled "MLK" featuring fellow Atlanta rappers Trouble and Shad Da God.

The five-and-a-half-minute track begins with 808 drums and mellow keyboards playing. Thug then comes in to spit his bars, making a reference to Luther King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech. "I was havin' a dream/ I was whippin' a Rolls Royce/ And I bought everything I wasn't/ Turned to Martin Luther King overnight," he raps.

Trouble and Da God handle the last two verses on the track, rhyming about stressful life conditions. "Dream don't compare to what I done seen/ They tried to kill me for nothin'/ Tell her yeah she got it bussin'," Trouble raps. "I think once to myself, I think once to myself/ Only blamma to the left, I'm up in the booth by myself."

"MLK" serves as the first track that Thug released this year. Prior to this, he collaborated with Future on their joint project "Super Slimey". Even though the project received commercial success, many music critics suggested that the album was not worth buying. Calum Singerland of Exclaim! stated that the two "have trouble finding common ground," adding that "when they try on each other's styles, it's awkward."

Last week, the two collaborators unveiled music videos for two tracks off the effort. They were "All da Smoke" and "Mink Flow". While "All da Smoke" music video features a group of kids stealing money in order to escape from their unpleasant home, "Mink Flow" visuals finds both Thug and Future donning fur coats as they are surrounded by snakes and naked ladies painted like snakes and lizards.
