AceShowbiz - Oprah Winfrey for president in 2020! The 63-year-old media proprietor/actress/philanthropist has sparked presidential run rumors following her empowering speech at the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, January 7 at the Beverly Hills Hilton, where she was honored with the Cecil B. Demille award.
The "A Wrinkle in Time" actress had audiences both at the Beverly Hills Hilton and at home bursting into tears as she delivered her acceptance speech which touched on African-American accomplishments, leadership, truth, abuse and power. "Their time is up!" she strongly declared of those using their positions or powers to hurt others.
"I want all the girls watching here now to know that a new day is on the horizon!" she said. "And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are here tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody has to say, 'Me too,' again!"

Winfrey's speech was so empowering and emotional that it left Hollywood with lots of feelings, which were luckily caught by the camera crew. There were nods, tears, respectful gazes and lots of applause. According to "A Wrinkle in Time" director Ava DuVernay, the room was "still vibrating like electricity" after the speech had ended that night.

"SHE'S RUNNING," tweeted several users. One said that she's "sobbing while I pretend I'm watching Oprah's presidential acceptance speech."

"Did Oprah just give the first speech of her 2020 presidential campaign?" another user wrote. John Podhoretz, columnist for the New York Post and a former presidential speechwriter, simply wrote, "She would eat. Trump. Alive."
