The HBO hit series won big at the Seth Meyer-hosted event by bagging four awards including the award for Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

AceShowbiz - The full TV winner list of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards has been revealed. "Big Little Lies" starring Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern and Alexander Skarsgard further solidified its status as the big winner of the night by collecting four awards, including Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, at the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards which was held on Sunday, January 7.

Creator David E. Kelley praised director Jean-Marc Vallee, "He took this material into his heart, and more importantly he delivered it from his heart, elevating every page, every performance." He added before passing the trophy to star and producer Witherspoon, "We're all so grateful."

"I wanna thank everyone who broke their silence this year and spoke up about abuse and harassment. You are so brave, and hopefully shows like this more will be made. So people out there who're feeling silenced by harassment, discrimination, abuse, time is up. We see you, we hear you, and we will tell your stories," Witherspoon said.

Trailing behind "Big Little Lies" were "The Handmaid's Tale" (Hulu) and "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" (Amazon), which snagged two awards each. "The Handmaid's Tale" was awarded as Best TV Series - Drama as well as earned Elisabeth Moss the award of Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama. Meanwhile, the Amazon comedy was named as Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy.

"This Is Us", "Master of None" and "Fargo, meanwhile, bagged one award each. It included best actor in limited series for Ewan McGregor, best actor in drama series for Sterling K. Brown and best actor in comedy series for Aziz Ansari.

Longtime TV personality Oprah Winfrey was honored with the prestigious Cecil B. Demille Award at the event.
