The popular South Korean boyband serves as a guest in the upcoming episode of the show, which will be aired on November 27. Ahead of the episode, the show has shared a clip of the group performing their newly-released track "Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)".

Host Ellen DeGeneres introduces the boys' performance by calling them "the most famous K-pop boyband in the world." Wrapped up in oversized coats, the group performs the song flawlessly, showcasing cool dance moves. Female fans can be heard cheering loudly and singing to the lyrics during their performance. Some of them are even seen dancing along.

"Mic Drop" was released on November 25. Shortly after the release of the track, it quickly tops the U.S. iTunes Song chart, making the group the first Korean group to rule the chart. The song also rules the charts in another country, including Canada, Mexico,Vietnam and more.

Talking about their massive popularity, member Suga reveals in the show's interview clip, which is unveiled along with the performance clip, that the reason behind the success of their songs is because of the lyrics. He adds that the lyrics, which usually talk about social issue, appeal to everyone in the world despite the language barrier.

In the interview clip, leader Rap Monster also reveals that he taught himself English by watching "Friends". He remarks that most Korean parents used to make their children watch the sitcom before. "Back in the day, when I was, like, 15, it was like a syndrome for all the Korean parents to make their kids watch 'Friends'," he says.

"I thought I was kind of like a victim at that time, but right now, I'm the lucky one," he continues. "My mother bought me all 10 DVDs -- all the seasons -- and first I watched them with the Korean subtitles, then the English subtitles, then [none at all]."
