The 'Love Me Like You Mean It' songstress is currently busy preparing for her 'Unapologetically' tour, which will kick off in Birmingham in 2018.

AceShowbiz - Following the success of her debut album "The First Time", Kelsea Ballerini released her second studio album "Unapologetically" on November 3. Shortly after the release of the set, it arrived at No. 3 on Billboard's Country Albums chart.

Kelsea, who scored three consecutive No. 1 singles off her debut album with "Love Me Like You Mean It", "Peter Pan" and "Dibs", said that she took a more thematic approach for her second album, adding that listening to the album was like listening to a chronological story.

"It starts with a breakup and it goes into growing up and then it goes into falling in love," the 24-year-old songstress told Rolling Stone. Kelsea then added that the album told the story of her life in three sections. "I realized that I had talked about my life and my life has really come in three sections in the last two and a half years. And that was loss, it was life and then it was love. So that's what the album ended up being."

Prior to the release of the album, Kelsea unveiled the lead track off the album "Legends" on June 7. She also performed the breakup song when she took the stage at a benefit concert at her former high school in Knoxville, Tennessee in October. The country singer donated $20,000 to the school's choral department.

Speaking to Rolling Stone Country, Kelsea admitted that she always wanted to do a show at her school. "I've always wanted to do a show here, I only went to school for two years, but I feel like this is where I did a lot of character building and learned a lot about myself," she remarked.

Now that her album has been released, Kelsea is currently busy preparing for her upcoming "Unapologetically" tour in 2018. She will kick off the tour on February 8 in Birmingham and wrap it up on March 27 in Indio, California.
