The 'Battle of the Sexes' actress looks embarrassed after she unintentionally appeared 'nude' when posing for a photo with the 69-year-old politician backstage on Stephen Colbert's 'Late Show'.

AceShowbiz - Emma Stone suffered an epic photo fail with Hillary Clinton. The "Battle of the Sexes" actress was a guest on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Wednesday, September 20, and she got to pose for a photo with the former presidential candidate, who was also on the show to promote her new book "What Happened".

Stone was talking to Stephen Colbert about her new movie when the host showed the actress' photo with Clinton to the audience. In the snap, the 28-year-old actress and the 69-year-old politician were seen holding up T-shirts with the score of the infamous tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs that "Battle of the Sexes" centers around.

While Colbert was yet to finish reading the score printed on the T-shirts, Stone interjected, "Can I also point something out beyond this very cool photo?" The blonde stunner then shared, "I get a chance to meet Hillary Clinton - which is just unfathomable and incredible - and I look like I'm nude."

The actress was wearing a strapless dress that night, but since she held up the T-shirt, her dress was completely obscured from view, making it appear as if she was naked. The host conceded, "Yes, it does look like you are topless." Stone laughed while shaking her head and said, "Like...really? you have one shot...."

Stone also opened up about her life-long struggle with anxiety on the late show. She brought a drawing she made at age nine while in therapy. "This is me, I guess. It's really great artistry with my shoes and then this is anxiety here," she explained of the sketch titled "I'm bigger than my anxiety!"

"It's a little green monster that looks a little bit, as someone backstage said, a uterus with some ovaries," continued the "La La Land" star, who revealed she began getting "immobilizing" panic attacks beginning as far back as age seven.

Stone played the real-life tennis champ Billie Jean King competing against Bobby Riggs, who is played by Steve Carell, in the feminist comedy "Battle of the Sexes". The actress revealed that to be prepared, she memorized King's choreography and packed on 15 lbs. of muscle during twice-a-day workouts with fitness trainer Jason Walsh for three months.

The film opens in U.S. theaters this Friday, September 22 and U.K. theaters on November 24.
