AceShowbiz - Avril Lavigne sparks dating rumors after she was spotted getting cozy with J.R. Rotem. The 32-year-old singer/songwriter was caught on camera holding hands with the 41-year-old music producer during a night out in Los Angeles this week.
Lavigne was decked out in all black while her male companion donned a navy bomber jacket, T-shirt and jeans. They were seen leaving The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, California. The rumored couple was also spotted going out together over the weekend.
"J.R. is a producer she's been working with," a source told E! News. "He's respected in the industry. Lately, they've started hanging out socially and there's definitely chemistry there. They're both so passionate about music. They've been out a few times now and things seem to be headed in a romantic direction."
"Avril is in a really good place right now," the insider added. "Her recovery has been going well and she's been getting stronger and stronger. She has more energy and has even been exercising."
Avril Lavigne was diagnosed with Lyme disease. She was previously married to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley and then to Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. Before she was linked to Rotem, she was rumored to hook up with Ryan Cabrera.
