The group is confirmed to be the recipient of the award as they will be recognized for their dedication in music industry for the past ten years.

AceShowbiz - The 2017 Teen Choice Awards has announced that Maroon 5 will receive Decade Award at the upcoming event. Adam Levine, Michael Madden, James Valentine, Jesse Carmichael, Matt Flynn and PJ Morton will be honored for their "evolution over the past 10 years" and their impact on popular music and culture.

Additionally, the complete performer lineup has been revealed. KYLE and Lil Yachty will open the show with a performance of "iSpy". Yachty is also set to take the stage to perform his new single "Forever Young". Hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd is confirmed to perform "Black Beatles", while Swae Lee and French Montana will team up for "Unforgettable".

Rita Ora is set to close the show with a performance of "Your Song". Louis Tomlinson will also take the stage with Bebe Rexha to debut his solo single "Back to You". Meanwhile, Clean Bandit will join forces with Zara Larsson for a performance of "Symphony".

Several celebrities who are scheduled to appear on the awards show include Chris Pratt, Tyler Posey, Zendaya Coleman, Bella Thorne, Maddie Ziegler, Grace VanderWaal, Tyler Hoechlin, Olivia Munn, Gal Gadot, Yara Shahidi, Lucy Hale, Ed Sheeran and Millie Bobby Brown among others.

The 2017 Teen Choice Awards will be broadcast from the University of Southern California's Galen Center. It will air on August 13 from 8 to 10 P.M. on FOX.
