'Quantico' and 'The Originals' alum Tracy Ifeachor is set to play the character, who is the sister of Mari McCabe's Vixen as well as the granddaughter of Amaya.

AceShowbiz - It was announced at San Diego Comic-Con that season 3 of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" would see a new villain whom Vixen is familiar with. After briefly glimpsed in the Comic-Con trailer, Kuasa's actress is finally revealed.

Entertainment Weekly reports that "Quantico" and "The Originals" alum Tracy Ifeachor is set to take on the role. The sister of Mari McCabe's Vixen, Kuasa is also the granddaughter of Maisie Richardson Sellers' version of Vixen, Amaya. Season 3 may be interesting since EP Marc Guggenheim confirmed that Amaya would be crossing paths with her granddaughter. "We're looking forward to the inevitable confrontation between Maisie's character and her granddaughter," Marc revealed during SDCC panel.

Kuasa first appeared on The CW Seed animated series "Vixen". Voiced by Anika Noni Rose, Kuasa was depicted as the villain as she was trying to steal Anansi Totem from Mari. However, she later joined Mari's side and died fighting alongside her sister. It seems like "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" will bring her from some point before her death.

Previously, Tracy appeared on "Doctor Who" as Abigail Naismith. Her other credits include "Crossbones", "Hawaii Five-0" and "Billionaire Ransom". She also lent her voice to the "Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Eternal Throne" video game.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" returns for season 3 on Tuesday, October 10 at 9 P.M. on The CW.
