Actress Lee Jung Hyun, who stars alongside the groom-to-be in 'The Battleship Island', also claims she knew about the pair's engagement before the news broke.

AceShowbiz - Song Joong Ki's "The Battleship Island" co-star Lee Jung Hyun has revealed a detail about the actor's wedding plan to Song Hye Kyo. In an interview, the actress said that she offered to sing at the couple's wedding, but Joong Ki turned it down because someone else is already set to do the honor.

"When I met him a while ago, I told him that I could sing the congratulatory song [for their wedding], but he declined," Jung Hyun shared. "I prepared to do the congratulatory song with [my songs] 'Come' and 'Change', but he adamantly stopped me and told me that Ok Joo Hyun was going to do it. He told me I could visit their home in the future after their marriage and congratulate them."

Jung Hyun also claimed that she had known about the couple's engagement before they officially announced it to the press. "The truth is, I actually knew about the news beforehand," Jung Hyun said. "I knew about it before Song Joong Ki revealed the news. And while it's true that I knew about it beforehand, I couldn't let anyone find out that I knew."

Meanwhile, Joong Ki himself has talked about his feelings preparing for the wedding. "I understand that people would be curious because this is my first appearance since announcing my marriage to Song Hye Kyo," he said while promoting his upcoming movie "The Battleship Island".

He continued, "I want to be honest about my marriage to my girlfriend. Currently, I'm preparing for the movie release. I'm also preparing for the wedding when I have time. I'd be thankful if you give us a lot of support. Because we're getting so much support, it's sincerely a lot of strength for me... I'm preparing for the wedding with a happy heart."
