Johnny Depp Demands Claim He Has 'Psychological Issues' Removed From Court Record

The actor has slammed allegations that he has 'compulsive spending disorder' and 'psychological issues' on a lawsuit filed by his former financial advisers.

AceShowbiz - Johnny Depp is currently on legal battle against his former management team, TMG. The actor alleged that the group mishandled his funds and allowed him to spend his money to the brink of financial crisis. TMG then counter-sued him, insisting that Depp spent years enjoying absurdly lavish lifestyle while pointing out his massive collection of antique cars and habit of spending $30,000 a month only on wine.

The battle was getting nastier as the group reportedly disclosed information they learned while working with Depp and used it against him in order to ruin his reputation. The "Black Mass" actor has now demanded that allegations he has "psychological issues" and a "compulsive spending disorder" be stricken from the $25 million lawsuit, according to Daily Mail.

Depp accuses his former financial advisers of adding "irrelevant and improper" statements, which are "inflammatory material," to their suit only to "viciously attack" him in the public sphere. Last month, a series of emails between Depp and TMG head Joel Mandel have been included as evidence. In the emails, Mandel warned the actor to "take it easy on holiday spending" and told him to "look realistically at income and expenses and work together on how to make sure these are back in balance."

Depp basically rejected the suggestion as he replied, "Doing my very best on holiday spending but there is only so much I can do, as I need to give my kiddies and famille as good a Christmas as possible, obviously within reason." The actor sarcastically added, "What else can I do??? Do you want me to sell some art??? I will. You want me to sell something else??? sure...what??? I got bikes, cars, property, books, painting and some semblance of a soul left. Where would you like me to start???"
