The 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' actor was said to be tending to the terrified victim following the robbery incident on King's Road, Chelsea.

AceShowbiz - Daniel Radcliffe is a real-life hero. The 27-year-old actor reportedly rushed to help a tourist who was slashed in the face by moped thieves on London's trendy King's Road, Chelsea last week. The man whose Louis Vuitton bag was stolen by the muggers was "shaken up" after the incident, and Daniel was among other passersby who stopped to tend to the victim.

A witness, former police officer named David Videcette, told Evening Standard, "It was a bit of the surreal moment, I said 'you're Daniel Radcliffe' and he replied 'I am.' He was a really nice bloke, a lot of stars wouldn't have stopped to help. The victim was very, very shaken up."

David went on detailing the horrifying incident. "They grappled with him [the victim] on the pavement. He wasn't going to give up the bag willingly. I tried to ram the bike with my car but I wasn't able to," he shared. "They slashed him in the face with the knife and made off down the King's Road. I tried to follow them but I lost them as they were jumping red lights."

A spokesperson for the Met Police said, "Police were called at approximately 6.10 P.M. on Friday, July 14 to reports of robbery in Hortensia Road. The victim-a man aged in his 50-was walking in the road when two people riding a moped snatched his bag before riding off. The victim suffered a cut to the face during the incident. Officers from Kensington and Chelsea investigate. No arrests were made and enquiries continue."
