While the former 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star reveals that she has almost recovered from the stroke she suffered in September 2015, she says that she sometimes has trouble when speaking.

AceShowbiz - Kim Zolciak-Biermann apparently is still coping with the lingering symptoms of her 2015 stroke. On Sunday, July 16, the TV personality took to her Instagram account to share a message about stroke identification, which her daughter Brielle Biermann sent her.

While the former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star revealed that she has almost recovered from the mini stroke she suffered in September 2015, which forced her to withdraw from "Dancing with the Stars", the star said that she sometimes has trouble when speaking. "I have almost fully recovered (sometimes my tongue slips when I speak, and sometimes I have the word on the tip of my tongue but it just doesnt come out) but I feel great!!" she opened up.

The mother-of-six recalled the moment when Brielle called Kim's husband, Kroy Biermann, after she found that something wasn't right with Kim. "I remember him yelling, 'Brielle get her in the car NOW and take her to the hospital fast every minute count!' It's TRUE! And Im so thankful for everyone's quick thinking. I've never seen doctors/nurses move as fast as they did the second I was wheeled in. I'm so thankful for my medical team," the 39-year-old star shared.

Kim went on writing, "I had my stroke at 37!! It can happen to anyone at any age!! When in doubt please always check it out!!" The message she shared featured instructions on how to recognize a stroke by asking the person to smile, raise both hands or say a simple sentence. If they have trouble with any of those tasks, it is important to seek medical help as soon as possible.

Thank you @briellebiermann for sending me this! I wanted to share it with you! As you know I had a stroke in Sept 2015 and when Brielle called Kroy to tell him something wasn't "right" with me I remember him yelling, "Brielle get her in the car NOW and take her to the hospital fast every minute count!" It's TRUE! And Im so thankful for everyone's quick thinking. I've never seen doctors/nurses move as fast as they did the second I was wheeled in. I'm so thankful for my medical team. I have almost fully recovered (sometimes my tongue slips when I speak, and sometimes I have the word on the tip of my tongue but it just doesnt come out) but I feel great!! I had my stroke at 37!! It can happen to anyone at any age!! When in doubt please always check it out!! 💋
