The two former Disney stars have put to rest any rumors claiming that they're feuding with cute Twitter exchange to support each other's music.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez may have been through the ups and downs of friendship before, but the two have showed the world that they're now stronger than ever. Following the release of Selena's new single "Fetish", Demi took to Twitter to reach out to her fellow singer and gush over her new song. She also went nostalgic as she wrote along with silly face and heart emojis, "Loving your new song Fetish, we've come a long way since our Barney days."

"Fetish" came just days after Demi's new single "Sorry Not Sorry" arrived. Although the two would compete against each other in a chart duel, they showed nothing but love and support for each other's music. In response to Demi's sweet tweet, Selena wrote, "Yes we have -just listening to Sorry Not Sorry! You slay as always. So happy for you!"

Demi and Selena first met when they both appeared on children's TV series "Barney & Friends" back in 2002, before going on to star in separate Disney Channel originals and kicking off their pop music career. Their friendship appeared to hit a rough patch a couple of times. In 2014, Demi unfollowed Selena on Twitter and Instagram, sparking speculations that there was bad blood between them.

However, Demi later confirmed that she had been on good terms with Selena. "We've been through a lot together. We've had periods of times where we grew apart and we just didn't really talk," she said at that time. "Now we are in a place where I think we realized that life is so short and that when you have people in your life that love you so much, then you should just always be around them."
