Beyonce, Drake and More Are Billboard's Top 50 Money Makers of 2016

The 'Single Ladies' hitmaker tops the list, followed by Guns N' Roses and Bruce Springsteen at No.2 and No.3, while Drake soars to No. 4 after ranking 32nd last year.

AceShowbiz - Billboard has released the list of highest-paid musicians of 2016. Beyonce Knowles emerges on top of the list after earning $62.1 million last year, while Drake soars to No. 4 after dominating charts throughout 2016.

Last year, Beyonce embarked on "Formation World Tour" in support of her sixth studio album, "Lemonade", which was released in April. The tour sold 1.2 million tickets and earned her $54.7 million. Her album, meanwhile, managed to rake in $4.3 million in sales. Beyonce is one of the six artists on the list who earned more than $1 million in sales, touring, publishing and streaming.

The "Formation" songstress is followed by Guns N' Roses at No. 2. The rock band earned $42.3 million last year after their "Not in This Lifetime..." tour became the band's highest-grossing tour to date. They also managed to earn $670,800 in streaming, $771,700 in sales and $499,600 in publishing.

Bruce Springsteen follows close behind at No. 3 with $42.2 million. "The River Tour 2016" became 2016's second highest-grossing tour, earning him $40.9 million. The 67-year-old singer made $804,900 in sales, $167,500 in streaming and $415,200 in publishing.

At No. 4 is Drake with $37.3 million. The "Hotline Bling" hitmaker is the highest-ranked rapper on the list and leads all acts in on-demand and video streams which earned him $18.1 million. He made $13.6 million from his summer tour with French Montana. The "One Dance" crooner also earned $5.2 million in sales and $420,300 in publishing.

Other musicians on the list are Adele, who jumps four spots after ranking 9th last year, as well as Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Rihanna.
