AceShowbiz - "Outlander" has set a premiere date for its third season. Through a new promo and a key art, the show announces it will return for the new chapter of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie's (Sam Heughan) time-crossing love story on Sunday, September 10 at 8 P.M. on Starz.
Both the promo video and the key art depict the two lovers' painful separation as they stand on the opposite sides of the stone at Craigh na Dun. Claire rocks a 1960s hairstyle and outfit, while Jamie is in the 1700s. There's also a behind-the-scenes picture of the making of the poster.

Meanwhile, a new still picture features Claire and Frank (Tobias Menzies) in the 20th century. There's tension between the pair as Frank is holding Claire's hand with a strong grip and Claire shows a stern face in the image.
Based on "Voyager", the third of eight books in Diana Gabaldon's best-selling "Outlander" series, the third season will chronicle Claire's struggles upon returning through the stones to 1948, as her marriage to Frank is at the edge of a split over the fact that she returned pregnant with Jamie's child. Meanwhile, Jamie in 1700s is trying to rebuild his life following Claire's departure. The couple will do anything to find their way back together through centuries and continents.
