'Mission: Impossible 6' New Set Photo Features the Team Together

Tom Cruise shares a new photo of him as well as co-stars Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson posing together in New Zealand.

AceShowbiz - Tom Cruise has shared a new "Mission: Impossible 6" set photo as filming wrapped in New Zealand. The picture gathers the team that includes Cruise's Ethan Hunt, Ving Rhames's Luther, Simon Pegg's Benji and Rebecca Ferguson (II)'s Ilsa Faust.

They posed with the backdrop of the mountain landscape as they stared into something up in the distance. "Thank you to the amazing people of New Zealand! I've had a great time filming the next Mission: Impossible here," Cruise captioned the image.

Director Christopher McQuarrie took to his own Twitter page to share an update on the production that will now move to London, England. "Kia Ora, New Zealand. Thanks to everyone there who helped us achieve the Impossible. Leave a light on, London. We're coming home. #MI6," he wrote.

McQuarrie previously shared behind-the-scenes videos that captured the cast and crew on the set in New Zealand.

The movie will also bring back Alec Baldwin, Michelle Monaghan and Sean Harris in their roles of Alan Hunley, Julia Meade-Hunt and Solomon Lane respectively. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett and Vanessa Kirby are among new additions to the cast, as Jeremy Renner has been confirmed not to return for the upcoming movie.

"Mission: Impossible 6" is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 27, 2018.
