The 'Baby Don't Lie' hitmaker faces lawsuit after she allegedly incited stampede rush during her show in North Carolina last year.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani has been sued by a former fan who broke her leg at one of the songstress' shows last year. Lisa Keri Stricklin claims that she was injured after Gwen allegedly "incited fans to rush the stage" at the PNC Pavilion in North Carolina last July. Lisa has filed a lawsuit in federal court in North Carolina, suing Gwen and the concert promoter Live Nation.

"Just fill in anywhere you like! Who cares about your lawn chairs? You can get new ones!" the "Hollaback Girl" singer allegedly told the concertgoers. According to Lisa, this announcement "created a stampede rush of patrons from the lawn setting area through the reserved seating area and toward the front of the performance stage, with people knocking over and breaching the security barricades and other security matter, jumping over seats in the reserved seating area, and pouring in through the aisles separating the various sections of the reserved seating area."

The crowd got out of control and Lisa "was trampled by the rush of patrons and into a wall along the reserved seating area, causing her severe physical injuries," including a broken tibia, which required surgery. While Gwen never apologized for the stampede, she allegedly told fans, "I got in so much trouble for telling you guys to come up here!"

"Stefani's negligent acts as alleged herein constitutes gross negligence, as it amounted to wantonness, willfulness, or evidenced a reckless indifference to the consequences of her acts, entitling the Plaintiff to punitive damages," the suit further asserts.

Lisa is asking for $150,000 from Gwen and Live Nation. Reps for Lisa and Gwen did not reply to requests for comment. Meanwhile, a rep for Live Nation told Rolling Stone that the company "does not comment on pending or ongoing litigation."
