AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner reportedly knew about Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus' affair while he was still married to her in 2013. Ben and Lindsay were caught having a quick date in Los Angeles on July 6.
"There was an immediate spark," a source close to the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor tells Radar Online, "Ben and Lindsay flirted and stayed in touch through Ben's appearances on SNL."
While Ben put on a show in public of trying to reconcile with Jennifer, in private, he was spending time with Lindsay, showering her with pricey gifts and lots of affection, reveals the source.
According to the source, Jen found out about Ben and Lindsay when a swanky jewelry store called their house about a ring he bought for his mistress. "Jen met face-to-face with Lindsay and demanded she return the jewelry," says the source. "Lindsay says she'd return it, but only if Ben asked for it back."
