The iconic patriotic-themed giant inflatable slide, which was seen at her previous July 4 parties, was spotted near her pool, but there was no sign of the presence of her famous squad.

AceShowbiz - Unlike the past three years, the scene at Taylor Swift's multi-million beachfront Rhode Island estate on Tuesday, July 4 was much quieter than usual. It seemed like the singer, who hosted massive Independence Day parties for the past three years, decided to skip the star-studded annual bash for this year.

People who hoped to catch of a glimpse of the "Bad Blood" singer and her new boyfriend Joe Alwyn were doomed to a huge disappointment. The iconic patriotic-themed giant inflatable slide, which was seen at her previous July 4 parties, was spotted near her pool. However, things were just disappointingly silent. There were no starlets in red, white and blue swimsuits, and no American flag cakes.

There was also no sign of the presence of her famous squad, which includes the likes of Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne. In fact, Karlie and Cara were in Paris for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.

Last week, a report suggested that Taylor's private jet was seen leaving London and landed in Rhode Island with the singer and her British beau aboard. But the couple haven't seen around the town by far.

The decision to skip the tradition might be because Taylor wanted to be "insanely private" about her new romance with Joe. "She wanted to get to know him without any chaos. She has learned from the past," a source previously revealed.

Last year, Taylor showed off intimacy between her and her then-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston in the famed holiday soiree, which she first began documenting on social media in 2014. One of the most memorable moments from the famed party was when Tom, who sported infamous "I love T.S." tank top, and the "Blank Space" singer frolicked in the ocean.
