AceShowbiz - Rejoice, SONE! Girls' Generation has confirmed their comeback with a sixth full-length studio album, which is scheduled to arrive in August. The album release is just in time for the group's 10th anniversary. Other details about the new album are yet to be shared.

The "I Got a Boy" hitmaker has also announced that they will be holding a fan meeting called "Girls' Generation 10th Anniversary - Holiday to Remember" on their debut anniversary, August 5. The event will take place at the Seoul Olympic Hall in Olympic Park.

The eight-piece group, which consists of Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany (II), Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun, will perform their hit songs as they look back on the past 10 years with their fans. Tickets for the fan meeting will go on sale on July 11.

Fans are excited to hear that their idol will return with a new album. "My sister started yelling and running around when I told her this. The neighbors are going to think she's crazy," one wrote on an internet forum. "YASSSS!! We're getting a full album," another responded, adding, "I'm too excited."

The new album will be the follow-up to Girls' Generation's 2015 effort "Lion Heart". Prior to releasing the new album, the group is set to take part in "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in SEOUL" on July 8.
