The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer has decided to cancel two shows this weekend due to health issue after hinting that she would never hit the road for tour again a few days ago.

AceShowbiz - Adele has announced that she would not perform on her last two shows at Wembley stadium this weekend. The "Skyfall" hitmaker has taken to Twitter to reach out to fans and share some upsetting news about her health. Adele has to pull out of the final shows of her tour because she has temporarily damaged her vocal cords.

"I don't know how to start this. The last two nights at Wembley have been the biggest and best shows of my life," she writes. "To come home to such a response after so long away doing something I never thought I could pull off but did has blown me away. However I've struggled vocally both night. I had to push a lot harder than I normally do. I felt like I constantly had to clear my throat, especially last night."

"I went to see my throat doctor this evening because my voice didn't open up at all today and it turns out I have damaged my vocal cords," Adele continues. "And on medical advice I simply am unable to perform over the weekend. To say I'm heartbroken would be a complete understatement."

The 29-year-old songstress has even considered "miming" to keep her obligation as a performer. "I've considered doing Saturday night's show but highly unlikely I'd even make it through the set and I simply can't crumble in front of you all and walk out on you in that way. I'm so desperate to do them that I've considered miming. Just to be in front of you and be with you. But I've never done it and I cannot in a million years do that to you. It wouldn't be the real me up there. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for your disappointment," she explains.

Adele also apologizes to fans and promises refunds if the shows won't be rescheduled. "I'm writing this as the decision has just this moment been made, so I don't have any other, but of course refunds will be available if the shows can't be rescheduled. There will be more information over the next few days. I'm sorry, I'm devastated," she adds.

The cancellation comes after Adele hinted that she might never go on tour again a few days ago. "Touring is a peculiar thing. It doesn't suit me particularly well. I'm a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I'm dramatic and have a terrible history of touring," she wrote on a heartfelt letter. "I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don't know if I'll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home."
