Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are spotted on the set in Orange, Southern California, where a protest is filmed.

AceShowbiz - As plot details of "American Horror Story" season 7 are still kept under wraps, fans are digging out clues about the theme. And now new photos from the set have surfaced online, giving hints at what the upcoming season will be about.

The latest set photos were taken during the filming in Orange, a small town in Southern California. Sarah Paulson and a blue-haired Evan Peters were spotted on the set, while extras were holding signs for what looked like the filming of a protest scene.

The signs feature image of Sarah Paulson with the word "murderer" written on them. Other signs have the words that read, "Immigrants Welcome." Given that season 7 will revolve around the 2016 U.S. election, it's possible that the protest scene is the show's take on immigrant issue during Donald Trump's presidency.

"AHS" season 7 will kick off on the election night, "illuminating and highlighting people who don't have a voice in our culture -- people who are ignored by the current administration and who are afraid and feel terrorized that their lives are going to be taken away."

The cast also includes Billie Lourd, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman and Colton Haynes. No premiere date is set just yet, but the new season is expected to air this fall on FX.
