AceShowbiz - ABC dropped the first official trailer of its upcoming superhero series, "Marvel's Inhumans", on Thursday, June 29. The action-packed trailer is full of betrayal, initiated by the very own brother of Inhumans' King Black Bolt (Anson Mount), Maximus (Iwan Rheon). Maximus seemingly wants Inhumans, a race of genetically altered humans, to go back to their "rightful home," Earth.

The trailer also offers a look at Serinda Swan's Medusa with her iconic long red hair as well as Ken Leung's Karnak, who warns Black Bolt of the danger posed by Maximus. "You're blind to his intentions. Right or wrong, he's dangerous!" Karnak tells Black Bolt.

The tension between the brothers doesn't seem to go down. Maximus can be seen confronting the Silent King, whose voice is so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city, as he says, "Are you going to use your voice killing your only brother?" He panics when Black Bolt begins to open his mouth before everything is interrupted by a sudden appearance of fan-favorite Lockjaw.

Also glimpsed in the trailer is Black Bolt's cousin Triton (Mike Moh), who is on the run on Earth with who appears to be actress Ellen Woglom. Eme Ikwuakor's Gorgon, meanwhile, flaunts his Terrigenesis power by stomping his powerful legs, creating a shock wave which knocks down his pursuers.

Also starring Isabelle Cornish, Sonya Balmores and Henry Ian Cusick, the eight-episode series will premiere its first two episodes on Friday, September 29 at 8 P.M. on ABC, before later airing on Friday at 9 P.M. slot. Prior to the TV premiere, "Marvel's Inhumans" will screen in IMAX theaters worldwide for two weeks, starting on September 1.
