AceShowbiz - Sulli never fails to shock people with her odd behavior. After receiving backlash for posting a video of her laughing at an eel being grilled on Instagram, the "To The Beautiful You" actress responded to the haters by saying that they were more cruel.
On Tuesday, June 20, she posted a photo of grilled eels hours after deleting the controversial video. "You guys don't eat eel then," she captioned the photo. Sulli later wrote a comment underneath the photo the day after. "You guys are more cruel," the "Red Light" hitmaker commented.
Although eating eels is a common thing in Korea, people felt that she shouldn't make fun of it. "People, there is a very big difference between simply cooking and eating an eel and seeing a dying eel and thinking it's funny enough to ridicule like this," a commenter wrote on an article on Nate. "She gives me goosebumps, she really needs to be tested for drugs," another added.
However, some fans still showed support for the "Real" star. "To my dear @jelly_jilli, even if others hated you and keeps on bashing you I will always be a fan," a fan commented under her latest photo on Instagram. "You all said she get hate because she mocked the dead. Nah, are u all are vegetarian? Pls don't act like you never eat meat," another wrote.
In the now-deleted video, Sulli could be heard laughing at the dying eel. At one point, she was heard saying, "Save me, ah, save me!" while the eel was slowly dying.
