AceShowbiz - Less than a month after releasing his latest studio effort "Droptopwop", Gucci Mane has treated fans to new music. Aiming to repeat the success of his collaborative track with Chris Brown, "Party", Guwop taps the 28-year-old singer to assist him on a flossy new single titled "Tone It Down".
The flute-driven banger has similar vibes to Drake's "Portland" and Future's "Mask Off". The track finds Breezy handling the hook duty, repeating catchy verses, "Tone that s**t down/ Weak n***a ball like this." Meanwhile, Guwop spits some fiery, rapid bars while bragging about his possessions.
"Huh, pull up, fros up, with the door up/ Chopper in the club, I don't care who show up/ Watch lookin' like a glow up, when I throw up/ East Side pour the Crys' wrote why I grow up/ Hold up, lil homie tone it down/ 'Cause the jewelry that you rockin' is for kids, I'm a grown up," Guwop raps.
"Tone It Down" is the latest collaboration between Guwop and Breezy. It follows up their previous collaborative songs, including "C'Yeah", "Deuces (Remix)" and platinum hit "Party". It is still unclear where "Tone It Down" will land, though. It can be a part of Guwop's newest project or a cut from Breezy's upcoming double-disc effort "Heartbreak on a Full Moon", which is set to arrive later this year.
