The 17th annual awards show will also see show-stopping performances from Mary J. Blige, SZA, Khalid, Xscape and more.

AceShowbiz - The star-studded performer lineup for the upcoming BET Awards has grown a bit longer. On Tuesday, June 20, BET announced that Khalid, Gucci Mane, French Montana, SZA, A$AP Rocky, Mary J. Blige, Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd, Xscape and more have been added to the list.

They will join other A-list musicians to take the stage at the awards show, including Migos, Future, Bruno Mars, Trey Songz, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Post Malone and DJ Khaled.

More presenters have also been revealed. Remy Ma, music producer Irv Gotti and the cast of upcoming movie "Detroit" (Algee Smith, Jason Mitchell, Laz Alonso and Jacob Latimore) will share presenting duties with Yara Shahidi, Issae Rae, Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx and Demetrius Shipp Jr. among others.

As for the nominees, Beyonce Knowles leads the pack with seven nominations, followed by Bruno Mars with five nods. Meanwhile, Solange Knowles, Migos and Chance the Rapper score four nominations each. Chance will be given special tribute at the event. He will receive Humanitarian Award, while New Edition will be honored with Lifetime Achievement Award.

Hosted by actress and comedian Leslie Jones, the 2017 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 25 at 8 P.M. from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
