AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z's newborn twins are reportedly still in the hospital a week after their birth. While fans are happy with the arrival of the twins, reportedly a boy and a girl, doctors allegedly have not allowed the babies to leave the hospital due to "minor issue."
TMZ is the first to report the news. While the news outlet doesn't know the nature of the issue, family sources have stated that the twins were born on Monday, June 12 in a Los Angeles hospital and "doctors do not feel comfortable releasing them."
Beyonce also remains in the hospital, says the site, "but as far as we know she's okay." The news outlet further says that the "Single Ladies" hitmaker's newborn twins "are expected to be okay as well," though "it's unclear when everyone will be released."
The twins' names and sex have yet to be confirmed by the famous couple. Beyonce's father Mathew Knowles was the one to confirm his grandchildren's birth. He took to Instagram to proudly announce, "They're here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday."
